"Serial Range DS601 - DS852 This aircraft was one of 200 Lancasters ordered from Armstrong Whitworth aircraft in 1941 and built as Mk.11s from Sep42 to Dec43 with, up to DS627, Hercules V1 engines and the remainder Hercules XV1 engines. DS630 was delivered to 115 Sqdn Apr43. DS630 took part in the following key Operations: Dortmund 23/24May43; D_sseldorf 25/26May43; D_sseldorf 11/12Jun43; Bochum 12/13Jun43; Cologne 3/4Jul43; Hamburg 24/25Jul43; Hamburg 27/28Jul43; Hamburg 2/3Aug43-aborted; Peenem_nde 17/18Aug43-Lost. When lost this aircraft had a total of 137 hours. Airborne 2138 17aug43 from Little Snoring. Believed crashed at Ostersoen, 2 km SE of Gedser, Denmark. All are commemorated on the Runnymede Memorial.
