"Serial range L7276 - L7584 This aircraft was one of 200 Manchesters ordered from A.V.Roe (Manchester) in Aug36 to Air Ministry Spec 19/37 and built as 157 Manchester 1/1A from 31Jul40, and 43 Lancaster MK.1 from Oct41 to Mar42. L7536 was delivered to 44 Squadron 28Dec41. L&536 took part in the Key Operation against Essen 10/11Mar42 - the first Lancaster operation. Shot down 1655 by fighters near leVieil-Evreux (Eure), 6 km ESE of Evreux, France. All are buried in Evreux Communal Cemetry.
