Delivered by Short & Harland between Mar43 and May43. Contract No.774677/38. Delivered to No.214 Sqdn 21Apr43. BF528 was one of three No.214 Sqdn Stirlings lost on this operation. See: BF478; MZ261. Airborne 2335 23May43 from Chedburgh. Cause of loss not established. Crashed near M_nchengladbach where the two airmen who were killed were initially buried in the St_dtfriedhof. They have been subsequently reinterred in the Rheinberg War Cemetery.
